1, nylon casters

What performance to test before leaving the factory

Rotational resistance test

= Rotational resistance test is to install one or more stainless steel casters on a linear or circular motion tester so that the direction is 90° to the direction of travel. A test load of 100/200/300 N is applied to each caster according to different test levels. A horizontal traction force was applied to cause the caster on the test platform to travel at 50 mm/s and rotate within 2 seconds. Record the maximum traction that causes the casters to rotate, and the size is not more than 20% of the test load.

 

2. Resistance performance test

 When testing this performance, the casters should be kept clean and dry. Place the casters directly on a metal plate insulated from the ground, keeping the wheel edges in direct contact with the metal plates, and loading the casters with 5% to 10% of their standard load. The resistance value between the caster and the metal plate was measured by an insulation resistance value tester.

 

3. Rolling resistance test

For the rolling resistance test, the standard is to mount three casters on a fixed three-arm base. According to different test levels, the test load of 300/600/900N is applied to the base, and a horizontal traction force is applied to the test platform. The speed of the casters is 50mm/s and keeps 10S. Since the friction of the caster starts to be large and there is a speed, the horizontal traction is measured after 5S, and the size is not more than 15% of the test load.

 

Rubber casters are used frequently. Due to the special material of rubber, they have elasticity, good sliding resistance and high friction coefficient with the ground. Therefore, they can move safely and safely when transporting goods. There are a wide range of applications indoors and outdoors.
