Commonly used medical caster accessories mainly include support frame, sealing ring, anti-wrapped cover, single-wheel brake, full brake, steering lock and so on. The respective roles are as follows:
1. The support frame: mainly the device under the vehicle, which can be fixed at a certain position. Others include steering arms, levers, rubber crash pads, lock washers, and other spare parts for specific applications.
2. The sealing ring: to prevent the steering bearing or single-wheel bearing dust, maintain its lubricity and facilitate rotation.
3. Anti-wrap cover: to prevent and other debris from entanglement between the axle and the gap between the bracket and the wheel. Allow the wheel to rotate freely.
4. Single-wheel brake: A brake device that is mounted on the wheel bushing or tire surface and operated by hand or foot.
5. Full brake: The brake device that can lock the steering and fix the wheel.
6. Steering lock: Lock the active medical casters into fixed medical casters by locking the spring latch to the steering bearing (four or two locks).
To choose the right caster wheel material, usually the wheel material is nylon, rubber, polyurethane, elastic glue, cast iron, plastic and so on. The polyurethane wheel has no wheels to drive on the ground inside and outside, and can meet the handling requirements;
Secondly, choose the diameter of the caster: usually the larger the diameter of the wheel, the easier it is to push. The greater the carrying capacity, the better the ground can be protected from damage. The choice of the size of the wheel should first be determined by considering the weight of the load and the starting thrust of the moving object under load. ;
Calculate the load weight of the casters again: Calculate according to the weight of the equipment, the maximum load and the number of single wheels and casters used, and the load capacity required for a single wheel or caster;
Finally, choose the wheel that can be flexibly rotated: the larger the wheel, the more labor-saving. The needle roller bearing can carry a heavier load, and the rotation is more flexible and light.
