Gree Group was established in March 1985. After 33 years of development, it has become one of the largest and most powerful enterprise groups in Zhuhai, forming a comprehensive development pattern of three major sectors: industry, real estate and petrochemical.

In March 2002, the Zhuhai Municipal Government implemented an authorization operation for the Gree Group. As the authorized operation of state-owned assets, it shoulders the mission of ensuring the preservation and appreciation of state-owned assets. On the one hand, it improves the efficiency of the use of state-owned capital through the penetration of state-owned assets in different industries. On the other hand, it optimizes the factors of production through the authorization management of state-owned assets. The configuration integrates the existing resources of the Group, reflects the collective function of state-owned capital, concentrates on expanding the entire industrial chain, and promotes diversification of industrial choices. With the capital as the link, the group company implements hierarchical management and hierarchical management of authorized enterprises within the group to ensure the preservation and appreciation of state-owned assets. At the same time, it implements brand expansion, diversification and social development strategies, and gradually realizes the strategy of large groups and small accounting systems.
